NASHIP-Certification

star.net® Praxis receives AVWG (Economic Optimization of Pharmaceutical Care Act) and eDMP (e-Disease Management Program) accreditations.

As of July 1, 2008, doctors may only use EDP systems certified by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (NASHIP) to prescribe medication in their practices. Similarly, participation in the Disease Management Program will only be possible with certified software. Doctors using non-certified software systems face sanctions on the part of NASHIP.
Just in time for July 1, 2008, star.net® Praxis has received the official licenses for both modules. In light of the fact that this makes star.net® Praxis one of the first medical EDP systems to receive these licenses, we think we can be proud of ourselves.
Such a timely certification and the resulting absolute legal certainty that star.net® Praxis affords its users isn't a given on the market. The changeover to both new place of operation codes for medical practices and lifelong medical register IDs for doctors was also carried without any difficulty. All updates were made available punctually and error-free. Since we succeeded in standing up to strong competition and managed to impressively demonstrate the flexibility and quality of our software development, this success provides yet another incentive for our team to push forward.
